Perceptible progress made by the Allies, who repulsed attacks north of Arras and in the Vosges. Petrograd issues warnings against exaggerated reports of Russian successes. Those successes seem, however, to be of an important character. The National Relief Fund over £3,961,000; the Queen’s Fund, over £92,896; and The Times Fund, £679,278, the sum of £6,591 contributed yesterday being allocated thus: New Waterloo Hospital, £3,645; motor ambulances, £389; and for general use, £2,557.
