Von Mackensen repulsed in the Dobrudja on his centre and right flank; Rumanian diversion across the Danube at Riahovo near Rustchuk. Zeppelin raid on the East Coast; two attack London, of which one driven off and the other brought down in flames at Potter’s Bar; two casualties; Second Lieutenant A. de B. Brandon and W. J. Tempest awarded the D.S.O.
